2008 was gone, hello 2009
2008 was a busy year, there were alot of projects, tough decisions, a financial crisis and much more that I can remember right now. 2009 promisses to be even better, despite all odds against it. Let’s see how it goes.
In the meantime and before the end is over, here’s some of my favorite products from 2008.
A game
Fallout 3 – Fantastic game with a great atmosphere and combat system, it may cause you to miss school or work.
A music cd
In Rainbows – A triumph return by the Radiohead in 2008, caused a lot of stir in the media by their “pay what you want” business model on the web.
A TV show
How I met your mother – Season 4 and still making me laugh.
A movie
The Dark Knight – Joker was the very disturbing but genius character in this fantastic film. I recommend you see this if you haven’t already.
A web application
Netvibes -I continue to use it everyday despite being launched a few years ago. To me it’s one of the most useful apps out there on the web and it still continues to grow at a steady pace.
A gadget
iPhone – Apple launched the iPhone worldwide with 3G capabilities and improved model, an instant success. The app store has every kind of application you can imagine and with a collection of games that also keeps growing since Steve Jobs named the iPod Touch a “portable gaming machine”.
A winner
Barack Obama – Impecable campaign and even more amazing victory, in 2009 we’ll see how Obama will address the challenges that lie ahead.
