Google Chrome – A new browser enters the browser wars

Google is unveiling their new product called “Chrome”, which is a browser based on “Webkit” (The codebase of Safari), presumably today.

Interesting stuff. I hope we won’t have too many issues implementing our sites and making it play nice with yet another browser, but it looks to be pretty standard compliant.

I like that they have tried to tackle some of the biggest browser annoyances of people nowadays, and basically started with the idea of a Java capable browser in mind. It might just revolutionize web apps. And it’s ALL open sourced.
