Ruby on Rails screencasts

In these days there’s plenty of different resources for people to learn, from podcasts, tutorials, books and…screencasts.
I was a little hesitant about that last option but after watching some of the videos in PeepCode about Ruby on Rails I quickly changed my mind. It’s a fantastic way to learn and totaly worth the price (9$) I paid for it.
PeepCode, for those who don’t know, it’s a website which contains a series of screencast episodes dedicated to learning various aspects of programming with Ruby on Rails, like REST practices, RJS templates or even using Textmate more efficiently as an editor.
A great idea, the video quality is top notch and the voice is understandable even if it’s not your natural language. It’s also nice to download the source code for the examples.
Nothing beats seeing things in live action, that’s why these screencasts are so usefull, go take a look at the demos on PeepCode and see for yourself.
