Another World is back
Back in 1991 I found a game that left me with my mouth open, not because it was bad but because it was brilliant. It had a great story, vector graphics, compelling action sequences and the gameplay was not just hard, it was addicting and sometimes frustrating too (something people liked back then).
That game was Another World or how some people like to call it , Out of This World.
Although the game was advanced for the time, it didn’t became too famous as his big brother – Flashback – that had better gameplay and refined graphics.
What’s more fantastic (and inspiring) is that most of the game was produced by one person – Eric Chahi.
Anyway, i’m writing all of this because the game was ported to the GBA and free of charge, how great is that? The makers of this great virtue are FoxySofts with colaboration with Eric himself.
If you have a gameboy and a flash cart, get this game. It’s much better than most 2D platform clones out there.
